Celebration of Loretta’s Life will be held at 10:00 am Friday May 11, 2018 at Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong, IL. Burial will be in Oblong Cemetery.
Loretta Auskis, 78, of Oblong, IL passed away on Friday May 4, 2018 at 9:35pm surrounded by her CILA family.
She was born in Green Bay, WI on April 7, 1940 to Frank Auskis. She had worked for Lawrence Crawford Association for Exceptional Citizens for over 28 years, retiring in 2016.
Survivors include her CILA family and many friends. Loretta loved to spend time with her CILA family and friends. She enjoyed working at LCAEC and never liked to miss a day. She was a hardworking and dedicated employee until she retired due to health reasons. She enjoyed collecting teddy bears, baby dolls, purses and billfolds from anyone she could get them from or going to Walmart and the Dollar General Store to purchase them herself. Loretta enjoyed watching others. She did not talk your ear off, but was very good at getting your attention and making her needs known by using a “certain” word. Loretta will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
